📋 Description

• Own design for defined feature areas end-to-end, from problem framing through production-ready Figma files • Work in cross-functional squads with engineers and product managers • Make design decisions and present design thinking to stakeholders • Plan and run user interviews, JTBD analysis, and journey mapping • Track quantitative and qualitative signals to drive iteration • Design AI-driven features, including prompts, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop moments • Explore future interface paradigms involving AI, ambient computing, voice, and autonomous systems • Contribute reusable components and patterns to the IFS design system • Apply WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards and design for edge cases, error states, and real-world data • Deliver work that ships, performs in the field, improves task success rates, reduces UX-related support tickets, and provides references for future squad work

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of end-to-end product design experience, from discovery through to shipped product • Experience independently planning research studies, conducting interviews, synthesising findings, and turning them into clear design direction • Ability to work in a cross-functional squad alongside engineers and product managers • Strong knowledge of Figma and visual design craft • Accessibility-first design approach • Serious consideration of how AI changes interface design • Ability to measure work using task success rates, support ticket volume, and adoption signals • Experience shipping AI-driven features, including prompts, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop moments may be advantageous • Familiarity with design tokens and contribution models may be advantageous • Exposure to quantitative signals such as task success rates, funnel data, or A/B results may be advantageous
