📋 Description

• Prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting • Conduct general-ledger and departmental-expense variance analysis and provide performance insights • Lead weekly accounting operations reporting for senior management, including cash flow, working capital, and renewal operations • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, order management, and general ledger operations • Manage sales tax and VAT reconciliation for US and European entities • Manage month-end and year-end close processes • Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition for software subscriptions, licenses, and professional services • Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures • Coordinate external audits and manage audit processes • Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate accounting staff • Oversee implementation and maintenance of Sage Intacct, Ramp, and other financial systems • Identify process improvements and AI automation opportunities • Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives and business decisions • Manage banking, employee expense reimbursement, and global payroll support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role for a software subscription business • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, especially revenue recognition • Experience with Salesforce preferred • Experience with Netsuite, Intacct, or another ERP required • Proficiency in ASC 606 revenue recognition required • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Strong leadership and team management abilities • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • CPA/CMA preferred • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
