📋 Description

• Develop and maintain key customer relationships with veterinarians and nutritionists • Lead strategic initiatives with key industry influencers, organizations, key opinion leaders, research institutions, and national and regional industry associations • Provide technical support to sales in virtual and face-to-face customer meetings • Deliver technical presentations at targeted industry, key prospect, and customer meetings • Develop technical information, including bulletins and papers, to advance the value proposition within the industry • Maintain and produce technical pieces for product support • Identify and develop or lead plans to fill value gaps through third-party research, complementary products, internal research, and/or technical papers • Actively participate in industry and professional associations • Coordinate campaign and document messaging with Marketing • Use Salesforce CRM to update the Technical dashboard and document customer, prospect, and key influencer interactions • Determine and facilitate or deliver necessary training across the sales team • Write technical reports • Write protocols for field trials • Analyze and organize data from trials

🎯 Requirements

• MSc in poultry science/animal science or DVM • 5+ years of experience in the poultry/swine industry • Practical knowledge of the poultry industry, its structure and key influencers • Demonstrated success in a technical service role introducing new products and concepts to targeted customers and/or markets in conjunction with sales and marketing • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers • Ability to work in cross-functional teams to achieve customer and product objectives • Strong technical/scientific background • Capable of writing, executing, analyzing, and presenting protocol results for research or sales support purposes • Well-organized and an effective planner in the use of resources • Flexibility and responsiveness as market needs dictate • Excellent people and communication skills • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
