📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and mature backend systems and architecture enabling care delivery for children with special health care needs • Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and performant backend applications, microservices, and APIs • Implement third-party integrations and external APIs • Ensure backend systems are secure, well-documented, and thoroughly tested • Develop, test, and deliver client-facing, production-ready features • Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary, remote Product Engineering team • Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences • Work with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into technical architecture and requirements • Use a collaborative, data-driven, and iterative product development approach • Estimate product scope and timelines • Work across various parts of the stack as needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Passion and commitment to reimagining pediatric health care and supporting children with complex medical conditions • Deep understanding and experience with cloud-based services, service design patterns, data structures, and data integrations • Collaborative, client-friendly approach to API design • Experience with NodeJS/Typescript or similar languages, AWS, Terraform, and React • Strong understanding of all layers of a production system, including data, internal and third-party integrations, testing, and user-facing clients • Familiarity with AWS infrastructure • Experience building highly scalable and performant backend services strongly preferred • Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment • Experience in healthcare or virtual care preferred • FHIR experience is a bonus • Understanding of web/mobile use cases and willingness to work across different parts of the stack
