📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, DAX, and visual layer development • Support VMS report configuration and data integration, including validating data pulled via API connections • Pull and consolidate metrics from multiple sources, including manual calculations, for recurring monthly reporting • Build and optimize SQL queries and data structures to support dashboard and reporting needs • Identify and implement automation opportunities for recurring reports and refresh workflows • Troubleshoot Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data issues • Partner with internal stakeholders and, as needed, clients, to gather reporting requirements and review completed dashboards • Apply staffing/MSP industry context, including SLA/KPI metrics, cost-savings methodology, and rate benchmarking • Document builds and processes for team maintenance and extension

🎯 Requirements

• Solid working proficiency in Power BI: DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard/report design • SQL proficiency for querying and validating source data • Strong Excel and MS Office skills, with comfort doing metrics/numbers calculations • Experience with at least one VMS platform (Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY) preferred, or willingness to ramp up quickly • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and working with multiple, disparate data sources • Clear written and verbal communication — able to explain reporting logic to non-technical stakeholders • Self-motivated and comfortable working within a project-based environment with moderate autonomy • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analysis roles, with meaningful hands-on Power BI development experience • Experience working with or supporting an MSP program, or exposure to a major VMS platform (Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY), preferred • Experience in staffing, recruitment, or talent acquisition environments is a plus, but not required
