📋 Description

• Own product design across the portfolio and set the bar for the function • Stay hands-on on the highest-stakes product surfaces • Maintain standards for clarity, accessibility, workflow fit, and consistent product quality • Lead user discovery with HCPs, patients, and internal users • Translate research and feedback into actionable design direction • Build understanding of physician and operator workflows for roadmap discussions • Partner with Product on post-launch experience measurement • Own and govern the product design system, including components, patterns, and tokens • Extend the design framework for product UI and AI-assisted build flows • Design AI-powered experiences, conversational flows, agent interactions, and UX guardrails for regulated contexts • Partner with AI and engineering leadership on platform and builder UI • Establish critique, review, and quality standards for the design team • Partner with product and engineering leads from discovery through delivery • Represent design in product planning • Partner with Engineering on feasibility, implementation fidelity, and front-end delivery • Partner with Compliance and MLR on regulatory product UI requirements, fair balance, and required disclosures

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in product design with a portfolio of complex, workflow-heavy shipped products • Experience across mobile and web, including platform or multi-surface products • Health tech, life sciences, or other regulated product design experience strongly preferred • Track record owning a design system or framework in production • Experience designing AI-assisted, conversational, or agentic product surfaces, or equivalent platform/builder UI • Track record running user discovery • Experience managing designers or standing up a small design function • Strong hands-on craft in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping • Comfortable as a player-coach • Credible partnership with product and engineering leadership • Product management experience is a plus, not a requirement
