📋 Description

• Report to the Trial Consulting Manager • Lead small- to medium-sized litigation matters and designated workstreams on large-scale cases from planning through completion • Manage timelines, budgets, resources, staffing plans, workflow, and deliverables • Track case progress, deadlines, budgets, and workflow across teams • Anticipate competing priorities, identify risks or quality concerns, and proactively implement solutions • Maintain understanding of case strategy, relevant law, venue, key players, and evolving client needs • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients and provide recommendations throughout engagements • Lead and participate in client meetings, including war-room sessions • Maintain proactive communication with clients, case teams, vendors, and stakeholders • Build and strengthen client relationships and identify future support opportunities • Apply advanced trial strategy, litigation procedure, and trial consulting knowledge • Distill complex issues, evidence, and case themes into compelling visual strategies • Direct development of visual presentations with designers, animators, medical illustrators, contractors, and specialists • Ensure work product meets IMS quality, style, and production standards • Lead multidisciplinary teams and internal and external resources • Collaborate across Trial Consulting, Jury Consulting, Trial Presentation, Expert Witness, and Litigation Consulting teams • Provide direction and ensure team members and vendors align with project objectives and quality standards • Oversee project activities from planning and administration through on-site support and closeout • Contribute to pitches, proposals, client outreach, and presentations • Participate in process improvement, innovation, mentorship, and professional development initiatives • Maintain compliance with IMS policies and procedures and uphold professional and quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience managing multiple complex, deadline-driven projects • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Presentation/Graphics Consultant, Trial Consultant, Litigation Consultant, or in a related field • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills • Strong ability to understand, synthesize, and simplify complex concepts and information • Exceptional organizational, project management, and time-management skills with a high degree of attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple complex, deadline-driven projects while balancing competing priorities • Strong client-service orientation with the ability to establish credibility and build trusted relationships with senior-level clients • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and accountability • Ability to provide clear direction, collaborate effectively, and contribute positively to a team environment • Strong creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to adapt quickly to new assignments, changing priorities, trial schedules, and client requirements • Ability and willingness to integrate into client project teams for varying and extended periods • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint • Commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and developing efficient and effective business processes • Advanced understanding of trial strategy, litigation procedures, and the trial consulting process • Specialized knowledge and experience in one or more areas of litigation • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, skills, and relevant professional experience • Demonstrated success managing projects with competing deadlines, evolving priorities, and high client expectations • Advanced project and time-management capabilities, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability • Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize department-specific tools, technologies, resources, and software
