📋 Description

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment plans, and document findings appropriately and timely • Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safety • Document patient medical information and review patient history at each visit • Request consultation or referral with other healthcare providers when appropriate • Counsel and educate patients • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed • Evaluate, triage, and manage pediatric and adult patients for acute care, including chronic disease management and mental health conditions • Maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends • Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results • Collaborate with provider and support teams • Report to the Medical Director of Urgent Care

🎯 Requirements

• Board-certified physician • Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency • 3+ years of post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting • Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual board certification in Internal Medicine plus Pediatrics • Completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination • Eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC) • Active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state is required • Experience and comfort providing care for all ages, from newborn to adult populations • Ability to function within an integrated medical practice • Extensive breadth of clinical expertise • Demonstrable proficiency with technology • Not under current exclusion or sanction by any state or federal healthcare program • Must maintain Medicare active status • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer, and office-related equipment • Ability to occasionally exert about 20 lbs. of force • Ability to interact appropriately with leadership, employees, and members • 1,560 annual hours; 60 hours per pay period • Weeknight 8-hour shifts between 11p–6a in the clinician's timezone • Every other weekend: two 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 11p–6a in the clinician's timezone • Three holiday shifts per calendar year • Multistate licensure preferred • Telemedicine or virtual care experience preferred • Athena EMR experience preferred • Experience and interest in supervising Nurse Practitioners preferred
