📋 Description

• Recruit and build an aligned and powerful Global Cement Network with a shared vision, theory of change, and capacity-building strategy • Increase Network membership, conduct organizing 1:1s, build relationships, and support movement toward Global South ownership • Execute field-building strategies in key locations, including landscape assessments and power analyses • Build relationships with leaders, organizations, and partners to support cement campaign goals centered on equity and justice • Develop advocacy plans for cement transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa, India, Southeast Asia, Brazil, and beyond • Develop a justice-oriented strategy for regranting resources to organizational partners • Advise foundations and regrantors and coordinate strategies to maximize impact • Design and implement trainings and collaboration opportunities for stakeholders • Identify aligned partners to accelerate action and leverage resources, relationships, and research • Collaborate with the cement team and Global Field Building team to achieve international policy, network-growth, and partner-engagement goals

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5–8 years of increasing responsibility in coalition development, power building, and capacity/field/movement building • Track record of accomplishment in coalition and movement building • Experience creating equity- and justice-centered visions with attainable goals • Experience developing and implementing power analyses, community mapping, and/or landscape assessments • Experience articulating key findings and patterns • Experience assisting or leading strategy development in coalition spaces and with diverse perspectives • Experience designing and implementing organizing efforts in local, state, regional, national, and/or international settings • Strong analysis of movement theory, implementation, racial capitalism, and other systems of oppression • Effective relationship-building skills and existing relationships with diverse external constituencies, including big greens, labor, and environmental justice communities • Experience in the climate movement or another social justice movement • Experience in community organizing or other forms of organizing • Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a semi-frequent basis • Strong commitment to Industrious Labs’ mission, vision, policies, and goals • Highly collaborative, curious, self-directed, and entrepreneurial work style • Exceptional oral and written communication skills • Proven leadership skills, including vision-setting, team culture development, equity, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and professional development • Experience working across race, class, gender, and geography, with analysis of climate change impacts on historically oppressed and marginalized communities • Ability to prioritize and remain flexible in a fast-paced, evolving, collaborative environment • Commitment to giving and receiving direct, compassionate feedback • International candidates must be located no more than 8 hours from the Eastern Time Zone
