📋 Description

• Serve as the division's primary point of contact for the WIC project • Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on new system modules and updates to existing systems • Provide Maintenance and Operations Support for the Vendor Management Portal and Local Agency Portal supporting WIC operations • Work with the project team, business partners, and system vendors to gather and finalize business requirements • Gather information on existing business processes, analyze those processes, and suggest improvements and optimal system design • Actively participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions for new systems and functionality within existing systems • Review vendor-drafted design documentation for thoroughness, completeness, design gaps, and alignment with business partner requirements • Draft test plans and test scenarios for the WIC project and participate in system testing • Monitor and follow up on project Risks, Action Items, and Decisions (RAID) items

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in providing business analysis on a large-scale IT system or prior experience determining eligibility or supporting administration for the WIC program • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience • 3+ years working in a Business Analyst position or 2+ years strong background in the WIC program • Experience defining business problems, gathering and documenting requirements, determining business solutions and verifying solutions meet requirements • Ability to handle a heavy workload with general direction • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficient problem-solving skills • Must be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment • Strong understanding of SDLC methodology • Relationship management and facilitation skills • Strong decision-making ability • Must be detail oriented • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion is essential
