📋 Description

• Update payroll transaction records, including employee withholding and direct deposits, in in-house systems. • Review and/or enter field staff timesheets against customer payroll systems and paper timesheets to ensure accurate pay and billing. • Monitor multiple Outlook inboxes daily and respond promptly and professionally to internal and field staff. • Research timesheet and payroll issues. • Back up other payroll team members’ duties as needed. • Assist team members with payroll on processing days. • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates and leaders. • Maintain positive working relationships with internal staff, field staff, and external customers/clients. • Use proper email etiquette. • Perform additional duties as requested by management.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma. • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred. • Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in an in-house payroll processing environment. • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare and/or staffing environment or related experience is preferred. • Knowledge of payroll-related practices including taxes and withholding. • Working knowledge and experience working within ADP WorkforceNow and Bullhorn/BTE preferred. • Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently. • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills. • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high-stress situations. • Effective prioritization and multitasking skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships. • Ability to use tact, discretion/confidentiality, and independent judgment to analyze and resolve work problems. • Ability to use sensory skills to communicate and interact through telephone, email, video conference, and face-to-face contact. • Ability to use office equipment including computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard, and mouse. • Ability to sit for extended periods at a keyboard and workstation. • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
