📋 Description

• Maintain and monitor HANA DB and ECC backups, including scheduled backups • Perform SAP-standard backup and restore procedures using HANA DB Studio • Plan and execute SAP application and database restarts • Support system patching and restart systems afterward, including cloud-hosted servers • Investigate and resolve day-to-day SAP issues, especially authorization-related problems • Monitor communications and escalate issues requiring further review • Check SAP vulnerabilities and remediation proposed in SAP KBAs/Notes • Maintain system landscape documentation, SIDs, transport routes, and RFCs for 30+ systems • Implement SAP Notes through SNOTE • Apply SAP patches, kernel upgrades, support package updates, and monthly OS patching • Manage SSL certificates through the Venafi certificate platform • Lead SAP system version upgrades and install new SAP releases on premise • Support migration of on-premise servers to AWS, AMS, or GCP • Shut down or decommission inactive systems for cost optimization • Configure and maintain SLT replication (CIM/CIF) • Apply country-specific SAP Notes for statutory and compliance reforms, including Brazil NFE changes • Administer SAP BTP and SAP Public Cloud user access and platform tasks • Provide Basis support to functional and regional teams • Administer SAP BTP global and sub-accounts, tenant provisioning, services, and entitlements • Manage BTP user access and authorizations • Monitor BTP performance, availability, and cloud security • Configure and maintain Cloud Connector • Maintain S/4HANA Public Cloud communication arrangements • Deploy, configure, and monitor SAP Integration Suite iFlows • Evaluate and implement BTP cloud services • Troubleshoot BTP integration issues and support business teams • Administer S-user IDs and SAP system users, including accounts, passwords, authorizations, and roles • Stay informed about AI capabilities for on-premise SAP landscapes and contribute Basis expertise to tool evaluations

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering SAP HANA and SAP ECC environments, including backup, restore, and recovery procedures • Working knowledge of SAP Note implementation through SNOTE and SAP patch management, including kernel and support package updates • Experience with SAP system upgrades, new installations, or cloud migration projects • Familiarity with SSL certificate management tools and processes in an enterprise SAP environment • Comfort working directly with cross-functional teams — consulting, sales, professional services, and regional business units — to support their SAP needs • Experience with SLT replication configuration (CIM/CIF) • Exposure to SAP BTP administration and SAP Public Cloud user and access management • Experience supporting country-specific compliance requirements, such as Brazil NFE, within SAP • Curiosity about how generative AI and agentic tooling can support an on-premise SAP landscape • Exposure to SAP Fiori/Gateway administration • Basic Linux/Unix and/or Windows administration • Ability to maintain system landscape documentation, SIDs, transport routes, and RFCs for 30+ systems
