📋 Description

• Lead the Platform & Architecture vertical for the Equity Management team • Own delivery accountability for a 0-to-1 platform modernization initiative from MVP through GA • Translate Solution Architect technical direction into a resourced, sequenced, accountable delivery plan • Drive Spec-Driven Development, Lean experimentation, and adoption of AI development practices • Own Engineering and QA/Automation for the modernization initiative while coordinating Product and UI/UX as matrixed partners • Establish delivery standards and definition-of-done discipline across Engineering, Product, and UX/Design • Identify misalignment, blockers, and unresolved cross-functional questions • Hold Engineering, Product, and UX/Design accountable for delivery commitments • Communicate candid program status and risks to the Senior Director, VP, and executive stakeholders • Own delivery of broker integration programs • Own delivery of the Certent Equity Management platform serving 1,200+ customers • Balance capacity and prioritization across modernization, broker programs, and core CEM delivery • Serve as the single point of delivery accountability across the portfolio • Lead 4–6 teams spanning platform modernization, Broker Applications and Integrations, Core CEM Application, and Platform Services • Coach and develop Managers and Senior Managers • Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, retention, headcount, and organizational design • Protect team capacity and build a high-trust, high-accountability culture

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS environments • 5+ years leading multiple managers or senior managers at Director level or equivalent scope • Track record driving large, ambiguous, cross-functional programs to completion • Proactively surface organizational risk or misalignment • Bias toward smallest end-to-end slices that prove concepts • Continually measure progress and realign teams and plans as priorities shift • Proactively avoid blockers and dependency conflicts • Technical fluency in modern software architecture and Azure cloud-native platforms • Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, medallion architecture, and temporal tables • Experience managing portfolios with external/customer stakes, client-facing programs, SLAs, or regulated delivery commitments • Strong executive communication skills • Comfort operating in ambiguity • Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, code review standards, and definition-of-done discipline • Experience managing distributed, global teams across multiple time zones • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience • Proven track record in spec-driven or AI-assisted development methodologies • Preferred: background in financial services, equity compensation, banking/brokerage integrations, or adjacent regulated domains • Preferred: direct experience delivering enterprise SaaS programs serving 1,000+ clients
