📋 Description

• Own key components of the monthly close cycle • Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, recurring adjustments, and revenue/expense recognition • Maintain close-cycle workpapers and support schedules • Complete recurring close tasks accurately and on time • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, prepaid schedules, accrual reconciliations, and account analysis • Reconcile cash, fees, reserves, and net payout activity across platforms, vendors, and channel statements • Support A2X and platform-to-GL data flows • Identify anomalies, missing entries, and coding inconsistencies • Perform trend, variance, and account-level analysis • Translate transactional data into financial narratives for leadership • Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts discipline • Improve close-cycle processes, documentation, workpapers, and reconciliation workflows • Partner on accounting initiatives supporting channel expansion and business growth

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional accounting experience with strong exposure to monthly close cycles • Accounting or Finance degree • Experience with journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and workpaper preparation • Strong general ledger and chart of accounts discipline • High attention to detail while working quickly and precisely • Strong analytical fluency in reconciliation accuracy, trend validation, and financial integrity • Ability to turn raw transactional data into trusted financial information • Experience improving close-cycle confidence through documentation rigor and account-level accuracy • Strong cross-functional partnership skills • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to work consistently within U.S. business hours and time zones • Computer, reliable internet connection, and distraction-free work environment • Ability to accommodate limited required travel up to 10% • Experience in DTC, eCommerce, Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or settlement-heavy environments is ideal • Familiarity with Fulfill, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting systems is ideal
