📋 Description

• Provide critical on-site technical support to customers for Altera semiconductor products and solutions. • Support customer applications work, including design conversions, simulations, system architecture proposals, RTL designs, benchmarking, and proof-of-concept creations. • Work with silicon interfaces including DSP, memory controllers, PCIe/DMA, SerDes, and networking. • Support vertical segments including AI, data center, communications, and video. • Assist sales on critical opportunities and drive design wins. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues at customer sites. • Provide customers with technical guidance and training on product usage, maintenance, and best practices. • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems. • Travel extensively to customer sites.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. • 5+ years of experience in a field support, applications engineering, or customer-facing technical role within the semiconductor industry. • Strong understanding of FPGA architecture, design flows, and development tools (e.g., Quartus Prime). • Strong design, RTL, and software background and experiences. • Proficiency in debugging complex hardware and software systems. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites. • Experience with Windows, Linux, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl is a plus. • Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.
