• Define, manage, deliver, and oversee Learning and Assessment projects and initiatives • Evaluate training program effectiveness and implement enhancements to improve engagement, learning, and retention • Keep training materials and programs current, accurate, and effective • Maintain knowledge of instructional design and training methods, tools, and techniques • Collaborate with subject matter experts and item bank/exam content management systems • Generate statistical data to inform and report on training and content-development activities • Implement varied training methods for different audiences • Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions • Ensure training milestones and goals are met within the approved budget • Maintain working relationships with department and division staff, volunteers, contractors, and stakeholders • Follow ANSI processes and procedures for organizational accreditation • Partner with internal and external audiences, cross-divisional stakeholders, and subject matter experts • Perform other assigned duties
• Bachelor’s Degree, Certification or equivalent in Education/Training, Instructional Design or a related field • Minimum two years’ experience with training various audiences, both virtually and in-person • Minimum one year of experience working in an education or assessment-related organization preferred • Strong background in instructional design and adult learning theory • Skill in writing concise, logical, and grammatically correct communications and training documents • Strong facilitation skills across varied situations and delivery modes • Ability to leverage data to create meaningful insight • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers • Skill with instructional design tools, including Articulate Storyline/360 and other e-learning tools • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and project management tools, including Asana desired • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) • Leadership, flexibility, collaboration, organizational, attention-to-detail, interpersonal, and customer-experience assessment skills • Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful conditions
