📋 Description

• Provide after-hours nurse triage for hospice and home health providers • Provide round-the-clock direct access to licensed registered nurses using client-customized protocols • Deliver patient-centered, compassionate care during clients’ non-core hours • Support clients’ nursing staff and serve as an extension of clients’ care teams • Access EMRs for charting and use internal applications during job functions • Complete at least 30 minutes of paid shift preparation before taking calls • Complete remaining charting for 30 minutes to 2 hours after shifts before clocking out • Work the Baylor schedule: Saturday and Sunday 4:30 AM–4:00 PM, and Monday 3:30 PM–12:00 AM • Work six days per 14-day pay period as a full-time Baylor nurse • Complete three weeks of remote paid training

🎯 Requirements

• MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license • Must remain in good standing and ensure home state license remains active • Hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care experience strongly preferred • Experience in a fast-paced environment such as ED, surgical services, or critical care • Comfortable accessing multiple technology applications to document during calls • Ability and comfort with typing in a fast-paced environment • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a bonus • Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer • Must complete three weeks of remote paid training conducted during days and evenings • Must be available to work some holidays as required • Must handle stress and multitask while receiving calls, including a minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 per hour on weekends • Must communicate empathically with patients while adhering to protocols • Must maintain CEUs as designated by the states in which calls are answered • Must attend in-services and additional training as needed • Must pass a background check and nurse licensing check • Must have high-speed internet • Must have a quiet, private, HIPAA-compliant workspace • Must be tech savvy and have keyboard competence
