📋 Description

• Design LMI / skills-gap study scopes, data plans, and analytic frameworks • Analyze occupational demand, supply, wages, credentials, and regional workforce risk using public and administrative data • Translate findings into employer- and policy-relevant recommendations • Produce clear written reports, briefings, and optional board/WDB presentations • Partner with AlphaGov evaluation SMEs when program-impact questions overlap • Contribute methods appendices and technical narrative to AlphaGov proposals

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years labor-market analysis, workforce research, regional economics, or related public-sector analytic work • Demonstrated experience delivering skills-gap, occupational, or LMI studies for a WDB, state agency, regional council, or comparable public client • Strong quantitative methods literacy and plain-language writing • Ability to cite concrete past public projects (agency, role, year) • Nice to have: WIOA/WDB familiarity; Python/R/Stata or advanced Excel; prior consulting/subconsulting; experience pairing with program evaluators
