📋 Description

• Provide telephone triage for hospice patients and families • Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate next steps • Collaborate with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources • Accurately document communications and interventions • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling urgent calls • Provide after-hours support and coordinate timely interventions for hospice services

🎯 Requirements

• Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license • Hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care strongly preferred • Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) used for call documentation • Ability to type documentation and notes in a fast-paced environment • Ability to handle stress and multitask while receiving calls • Strong communication and critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Consistent attendance, active communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts • Weekend-only availability, 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m. CST

• Base pay of $27 per hour • Multiple opportunities to increase the hourly rate, with potential to earn up to $30 per hour within the first 6 months of hire • $2 shift differential for overnights • $2 shift differential for weekends (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday) • 3 weeks of paid remote training • Paid time off accumulated by part-time and full-time nurses based on hours worked • 401(k) plan eligibility for part-time and full-time nurses • Medical, dental, vision, and/or supplemental insurance eligibility for full-time nurses • Work from home • Shorter shifts supporting work-life balance
