📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership for the specification, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of cloud and Azure-based infrastructure • Partner with IT groups and business unit customers to understand requirements and implement cloud and terrestrial technology solutions • Maintain regulatory compliance for applicable IT processes and infrastructure • Design and implement system monitoring and performance reporting • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for IT and business technology infrastructure • Administer cloud-based servers, workstations, databases, identity management, configuration management, and security • Provide user support by resolving assigned help desk requests • Manage cloud licensing and support contracts while maintaining licensing compliance • Provide input on data protection, authentication, access control, resource management, monitoring, high availability, and fault tolerance • Ensure business continuity and tested disaster recovery capabilities for cloud services • Develop enterprise testing plans and test documentation for new cloud technologies • Identify efficiency, cost-saving, and process-automation opportunities • Partner with vendors on technology design, implementation, budget management, SLA compliance, and performance validation • Administer network and resource structures, including server and Active Directory support • Participate in after-hours, weekend, holiday, and on-call support • Support regulatory compliance projects, vendor risk reviews, risk assessments, disaster recovery plans, and IT audits • Assist with cloud technology design, implementation, conversions, and upgrades • Participate in annual IT budgeting and cost forecasting • Maintain systems through patching, updates, and upgrades • Document systems and support techniques and cross-train IT staff • Assist with escalated issues from IT and business units • Perform other duties assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar discipline highly preferred • 6+ years of IT experience required • 4+ years of technical engineering experience highly preferred • 4+ years of cloud / Azure-based engineering experience • Experience managing Azure tenants, licensing, and provisioning • Experience managing vendor relationships, contract reviews, and service level agreements (SLAs) • Experience with virtualized environments, cloud infrastructure, switch/router management, business application support, backup and recovery, and cybersecurity practices • Experience working in a regulated industry highly preferred • Project management experience highly preferred • Administrator-level knowledge of Azure technologies, including servers, workstations, databases, security, and identity management • Knowledge of Azure-hosted desktop provisioning, monitoring, and management • Administrator-level knowledge of IT technology infrastructure components • Knowledge of monitoring and performance reporting systems • Experience automating IT tasks and improving operational efficiency • Experience designing, developing, and implementing integrated technology solutions across multiple business units • Ability to mentor and train employees • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills • Ability to travel on a semi-regular basis and work outside standard business hours as needed • Ability to handle highly sensitive information and maintain customer confidentiality • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Extended periods of sitting and repetitive computer tasks • Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed
