📋 Description

• Manage a software development organization comprising multiple engineering teams • Translate business and organizational strategies into technical roadmaps • Align systems and engineering teams with strategic objectives • Collaborate with Product, Product Design, and Delivery partners to prepare projects • Identify project opportunities, risks, priorities, scope, and cross-functional concerns • Guide exploration, design, documentation, and communication for system architecture, APIs, messages, and third-party interfaces • Foster a collaborative, generative culture supporting individual creativity • Coach, mentor, provide feedback, and support career development • Measure system and engineering team performance and prioritize improvements • Guide teams in delivering technical projects while maintaining accountability • Monitor technology trends, encourage innovation, experiment with new technologies, and participate in technology groups

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional development experience • 3+ years of recent experience managing or leading an engineering team • Experience working in an agile development environment • Deep understanding of software and development engineering principles and concepts • Deep technical skills in one or more of: JavaScript development, database technologies (MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB), AWS serverless, CI/CD, Salesforce • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced work environment • Sound judgment and swift decision-making skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to collaborate and build consensus • Knowledge of system design, data structures, and algorithms • Experience with distributed/scalable systems and high-volume applications • Commitment to continuing education in current and emerging technologies
