📋 Description

• Support the launch and ongoing growth of Ionis’s first wholly owned commercial product in the assigned territory • Engage key customers and accounts and identify opportunities to improve patient care • Build, maintain, and leverage local healthcare networks and relationships • Develop and execute business plans and customer-focused territory strategic account plans • Educate healthcare professionals and office staff about sHTG disease awareness, diagnostic pathways, and treatment • Provide value-added resources and HCP/patient support materials and programs • Participate in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings • Gather market insights, profile accounts, and provide feedback to field leadership and marketing • Understand local referral networks and identify, validate, and document potential HCPs treating sHTG patients • Build tactics based on brand requirements and customer needs, including engaging endocrinologists, cardiologists, PCPs, and other specialists • Participate in field meetings and training programs and certify on approved labeling and compliance requirements • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates and share customer engagement learnings with field teams and leadership • Use available platforms and technology to compliantly engage customers through multiple channels • Partner on accounts involving patients seen by multiple specialties across geographies • Operate in compliance with the Ionis Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards • Bachelor’s Degree • 5+ years of experience in Pharma sales • Experience in new product launches • Account-based selling experience • HCP and IDN engagement experience • Cross-functional field team coordination experience • Prior experience independently managing a sales territory • Background in cardiology, endocrinology, and other sub-specialties that treat FCS patients • Injectable experience preferred • Familiarity with treating cardiometabolic and lipid-related diseases such as severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG) • Established relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts • Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies • Record of navigating complex accounts and aligning solutions with patient needs • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to addressing patient needs
