📋 Description

• Serve customer needs in accordance with Hi-Cone’s organizational goals • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul automated packaging equipment at beverage manufacturing customer sites • Work with customers, project managers, engineers, quality personnel, sales, and cross-functional teams • Identify equipment and material needs and coordinate with customer representatives and internal teams • Complete job-related educational courses and training/testing programs • Assist with training internal and external personnel • Use applicable hand and power tools • Analyze equipment operation and make necessary running adjustments • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and schematics • Maintain knowledge of low- and high-voltage electrical systems, PLCs, servo motion systems, discrete and analog field devices, and basic wiring principles • Independently plan and execute travel • Remain on call to travel 24 hours per day, 7 days per week when not on vacation or approved time off

🎯 Requirements

• Strong communication skills, including ability to write professional emails and service reports • Strong end-user computer skills • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings • Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and installation ability • Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and relay logic • Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC and HMI programming experience • Electromechanical degree preferred • Vocational training or relevant work experience may be acceptable • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day and lift 40–50 pounds for extended periods • Must reside within a 2-hour drive of a major airport • Must maintain a valid driver license, clean driving record, and valid passport • Must be able to travel freely domestically and internationally
