📋 Description

• Develop and implement global category strategies for assigned IT categories, aligning with Jabil's overall business objectives • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, supplier identification, and spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements • Lead and manage the entire sourcing process, including RFI/RFP development, negotiation of terms and conditions, and contract finalization • Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT stakeholders, legal, and finance teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply for critical IT assets and services • Track and report on category performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance metrics • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT procurement and supply chain management • Manage and mentor junior procurement professionals within the IT category

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field • Master's degree preferred • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing within a large, global organization • Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex IT contracts and delivering significant cost savings • Strong understanding of IT hardware, software licensing models, cloud services, and IT professional services • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels • Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle) • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment • Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) are a plus
