📋 Description

• Independently develop and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring designs for complex industrial systems • Design and document power distribution, protection, grounding, and control circuits for power distribution and cooling platforms • Ensure electrical designs meet functional performance, safety, reliability, and serviceability requirements • Resolve electrical packaging and integration challenges with mechanical layouts, thermal constraints, and enclosure architectures • Execute configuration-controlled electrical designs for multiple product variants, options, and regional variations • Implement ECRs/ECNs while preserving compliance, backward compatibility, and production continuity • Synchronize schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, BOMs, and PLM records throughout the product lifecycle • Design systems compliant with IEC, UL, regional standards, and customer specifications • Support compliance activities through documentation and responses to design-related findings • Develop detailed panel layouts with component placement, wire routing, and labeling • Ensure wiring designs are manufacturable, accessible, service-friendly, and clearly documented • Support prototype builds, production ramp-up, and manufacturing issue resolution through design updates and clarifications • Collaborate with mechanical engineering on fit, clearance, airflow, and thermal compatibility • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and production teams on build issues, substitutions, and feedback • Participate in technical design reviews and release readiness activities as a senior technical contributor • Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical CAD practices, documentation clarity, and configuration discipline

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline • 8+ years of hands-on electrical CAD design experience with industrial or infrastructure-class equipment • Strong proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical and/or Edge Electrical • Demonstrated experience designing power distribution and control systems for complex, multi-variant products • Working knowledge of IEC, UL, and regional electrical compliance requirements • Ability to independently execute and own complex electrical designs with minimal oversight • Experience with power and cooling systems, switchgear, transformers, busway, PDCs, CDUs, chillers, or thermally intensive infrastructure preferred • Experience with switchgear, control panels and industrial power systems preferred • Proven background in panel layout, wire routing and electrical-mechanical integration preferred • Familiarity with PLM systems and formal product release and change control processes preferred • Experience supporting both NPI and sustaining engineering in production environments preferred
