📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end test methodology for validation test software focused on network hardware • Conduct architecture design reviews, development and code reviews, and deploy code in production environments • Create and review validation test plans and modify them to maintain compatibility with customer product or design changes • Design and develop test systems architecture and procedures for hardware validation during manufacturing • Establish testing standards and methods for others to follow • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts to assess hardware functionality and performance • Define, create, review, release, and maintain software that automates manufacturing tests • Control test equipment, collect and analyze data, and generate test reports • Support and maintain manufacturing test software deployed at production facilities • Implement configuration changes, adapt test requirements to customer needs, and support new process initiatives • Maintain documentation of test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure through automated documentation tooling and reviews • Collaborate with customers, development engineering, hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance teams • Act as a technical escalation and alignment point across engineering, quality, manufacturing operations, and customer teams • Provide technical leadership and mentorship as the subject matter expert for network infrastructure testing and validation methodology

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred • 12 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8 years with a master’s degree • Combination of education, training and experience will be considered • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with network hardware interaction, validation, and configuration • Experience in 5+ core skills, including Python, BASH, Linux/CentOS/Ubuntu, IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, memtester, iperf, BER, VM management solutions, networking systems/protocols, ONIE manufacturing upgrades, and Git • Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the complete software development life cycle • Experience working in multi-site and multi-cultural environments • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% • Master’s Degree in EE/CE or Computer Science is preferred • 15+ years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is preferred • Experience with test architecture design and methodology is preferred • Experience with hyperscale customers and environments is preferred • Experience with all listed core skills is preferred
