📋 Description

• Establish, drive, and execute the functional vision and roadmap for clinical data analytics and data visualization across global development programs • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of clinical data analysts and visual analytics programmers • Serve as the internal champion and subject matter expert for self-service analytics, modern visual frameworks, and interactive exploratory tools • Lead the architecture, deployment, and enhancement of patient profile viewers, safety signal surveillance interfaces, and medical monitoring suites • Direct dynamic study monitoring views tracking clinical parameters, adverse events, laboratory anomalies, query resolution, and subject disposition • Partner with Study Teams, Clinical Scientists, and Clinical Operations Leads to translate clinical questions into visual solutions • Support study-level data cleaning campaigns and review milestones to expedite database locks and preserve inspection readiness • Oversee technical strategy, design standards, and lifecycle management for Spotfire, R/Shiny, Tableau, and Power BI environments • Collaborate with statistical programming and clinical data management to ingest, transform, and map EDC, central lab, biomarker, CDISC SDTM, and ADaM data • Establish standardized visual libraries, reusable templates, and automated data refresh mechanisms • Define SOPs, documentation standards, and user validation frameworks • Evaluate visualization platforms and analytical tools and oversee external vendors and CRO partners • Represent IDASP in cross-functional forums, study team reviews, and technology steering committees

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative life sciences discipline • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry • At least 5 years in a dedicated people management and functional leadership role within clinical analytics or statistical programming • Proven expertise designing and delivering interactive clinical data dashboards and analytics solutions using tools such as TIBCO Spotfire, R/Shiny, Tableau, or Power BI • Strong proficiency in R, SAS, Python, or SQL • Thorough understanding of clinical trial workflows, Phases I–IV, EDC, eCOA/ePRO, lab data, biomarkers, CDISC SDTM, and ADaM • Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, and leading technical teams within a biopharmaceutical or clinical research organization • Thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, and quality control procedures • Direct experience implementing centralized clinical trial monitoring dashboards, patient profile viewers, or safety surveillance tools for global clinical trials • Experience with clinical data ingestion platforms, data repositories, and validation in GxP environments is highly desirable
