📋 Description

• Position JBS as the “go to” company for digital transformation and IT operations solutions within the health and social services sectors • Provide expertise and guidance on digital transformation and IT operations projects for government, agencies, or other organizations • Participate in strategic planning, process and performance improvement, IT service management, and change management initiatives • Design and manage IT operations and performance management processes in compliance with federal requirements and industry best practices • Assess and manage project risks related to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud operations • Review and approve project deliverables • Participate in meetings and provide information about industry trends, emerging technologies, and policies • Recommend innovative IT solutions for clients and staff • Assist with budget estimates and ideas to ensure allocated funds are spent appropriately and provide client value • Review technical deliverables, including infrastructure strategies, cybersecurity plans, cloud solutions, disaster recovery frameworks, and service management reports • Support professional growth for JBS technology teams • Collaborate with SMEs and leadership to exchange IT knowledge across JBS projects • Contribute to program development and thought leadership through workgroups, advisory boards, and Centers of Excellence content • Research potential new business opportunities, including funding agency background, organizational fit, and current incumbents • Contribute to proposal writing and development focused on digital transformation and IT operations solutions • Schedules vary from week to week because this is an on-call position

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Technology, or a relevant field • English fluency (oral and written) • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in related fields, including digital transformation, IT operations, and infrastructure management • Substantive subject matter expertise in digital transformation, IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity • Knowledge of government contracting and related performance expectations • Knowledge of data analysis, performance metrics, and IT service management frameworks such as ITIL • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Sustained expertise maintaining professional knowledge, identifying trends and emerging issues, and sharing them with staff and clients • Demonstrated expertise and experience managing budgets and leading IT projects delivering infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions to the government or other organizations • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently • Ability to honor, respect, and celebrate cultural differences • Attention to detail • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk or computer workstation • Regular use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse • Normal or corrected vision to read documents and view computer screens • Ability to hear and understand spoken information in person and over the phone • Ability to handle occasional stress related to deadlines, workloads, or challenging tasks • At least three professional references
