📋 Description

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for balance sheet areas, including capitalized assets and/or fixed assets • Prepare monthly accruals across multiple cost centers • Serve as the primary accounting resource for one or more foreign subsidiaries • Perform month-end close activities in compliance with U.S. GAAP • Review financial information for variance analysis and confirm accuracy and completeness • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities • Support external audit requests and prepare supporting documentation • Partner with accounting and finance leadership on technical accounting matters and ad hoc projects • Perform accounting, reporting, compliance, and finance-related responsibilities as assigned • Exercise independent judgment, own processes, and mentor others

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field • Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment • Experience in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment • NetSuite or similar ERP experience • Experience with fixed asset accounting or other capitalized assets such as internally developed software • Experience with month-end close activities including accruals, recording prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting fundamentals • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where employment is offered • JD Power does not provide employment sponsorship for this position
