📋 Description

• Perform financial and business-related analysis, data manipulation, and forecast preparation • Apply analysis results to produce recommendations for management and department leadership • Present findings in a form that tells the story behind the analysis • Support departments with multiple missions and lines of business, including clinical departments • Measure and report key business trends impacting financial results • Partner with departments to provide budgetary support and recommendations • Review, interpret, analyze, and recommend changes to annual and ad hoc budget submissions • Prepare and present executive summaries for submitted budgets • Prepare monthly variance analyses and narratives linking operational trends with financial outcomes • Provide support, training, and guidance on the department’s budgetary system • Examine, communicate, implement, and resolve discrepancies between budget and finance information • Analyze data, identify and communicate trends, manipulate data, and generate reports • Apply results from multiple reports to produce recommendations for management and stakeholders • Prepare ad hoc requests and provide financial interpretation, analysis, and market-based information to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required • 5 years in a Healthcare Finance or Financial Environment • Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis • Master’s in Business Administration preferred • Previous Experience in the Healthcare Industry preferred • Excellent communication skills • Collaborative and team-oriented style • Ability to achieve results in a complex matrix organization through effective task assignment, resource allocation, issue resolution, and escalation • Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to changing work conditions or priorities • Ability to listen critically and develop solutions valued by operational end users • Willingness to understand business systems and applications and communicate business processes and requirements to technical IT/IS staff • Familiarity with infrastructure setup and how various pieces fit together • Strong technical analytical skills • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook • Willingness to support development and deliver training • Ability to maintain confidential information and demonstrate integrity • Self-directed, self-starter with desire to develop professionally and advance technically • Attention to detail with ability to integrate detail with the big picture • Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication • May occasionally require ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects
