📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive financial management and reporting for assigned programs • Validate and reconcile monthly invoices according to contract terms, period of performance, CLIN structure, and funding • Generate financial and expenditure reports, including ITD and current-period spending, contract value and funding analysis, and forward-looking funding needs • Support customer performance reporting with financial metrics • Deliver complete, accurate, and audit-ready financial packages • Conduct monthly revenue, cost, margin, WIP, and funding reconciliations using Oracle PSR, PMR cost reports, P&L Investment reporting, and Revenue Worksheets • Investigate and resolve funding, WIP, revenue, and billing discrepancies • Maintain Estimate at Completion requirements and provide EAC updates for forecasting cycles • Support monthly close activities and complete adjustments, funding updates, and reconciliations • Prepare monthly financial narratives and variance explanations for leadership reviews • Coordinate with Billing and Cash Operations on billing structure, classification, and project/task mapping • Monitor billed versus collected amounts, A/R aging, DSO, and cash-flow risks • Help resolve short-pays, disputes, and rebill requirements • Maintain contract briefs, reconciliations, billing support, EAC documentation, and audit trails • Monitor proper charging of labor and ODCs for compliance with project/task structures and transaction controls • Prepare monthly management review materials • Prepare quarterly financial inputs and slides for Program Management Reviews, including EAC trends, variance explanations, and financial risk/opportunity assessments • Partner with Program Management, Billing, Cash Operations, Division Finance leadership, and other departments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field • 5+ years of related experience • Experience in project or program financial management within government contracting or a similar environment • Strong working knowledge of financial systems, with Oracle preferred • Knowledge of project financials, revenue recognition, and cost accounting • Advanced Excel skills • Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to collaborate across functional teams • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, deliverable-driven environment • US citizenship is not required • No clearance is required
