📋 Description

• Support learners through inbound calls and outbound auto-dialer campaigns, prioritizing inbound calls • Ask questions to understand learners’ situations and discuss payment options • Explain account status and potential consequences of falling further behind • Discuss options such as changing payment due dates, eligible deferments, or late-fee waivers within department guidelines • Process payments and accurately document account interactions • Select appropriate call dispositions • Follow privacy, call-recording disclosure, do-not-call, and department procedures • Meet service, quality, schedule-adherence, and performance expectations • Contribute to team goals • Work with team leads and peers to resolve questions and support a collaborative remote team • Handle approximately 125 inbound and outbound call activities per day, with inbound volume averaging around 70 calls • Participate in a gradual training process, including inbound call training during the first month and dialer training during the second month

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Collections experience preferred; call center or customer service experience valuable; direct collections experience not required • Strong communication, active listening, probing, and problem-solving skills • Professional phone presence and ability to remain calm and empathetic during challenging conversations • Ability to handle a high volume of calls, ask for payment, and work toward performance goals • Strong computer skills, including navigating multiple systems and Microsoft Outlook • Dependable and punctual • Open to coaching and willing to learn as part of a team • Must reside in and perform work within the United States • Must be willing and able to travel as needed • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements • Employment eligibility verification through Form I-9
