📋 Description

• Set the technical bar for chatbot systems and shape the prompt engineering team's future work • Maintain sound chatbot architecture as it scales • Build automations for record disputes, email/callout reduction, and document validation • Evaluate emerging AI technologies such as voicebots and computer-use agents • Decide which technologies to invest in next • Build and ship AI systems to production • Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation • Build the next-generation AI system for insurance quoting, document validation, stateful phone interactions, and direct navigation of external insurance systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering • Experience ideally at an early-stage startup with end-to-end ownership • Hands-on depth with AI and ability to build with newly released models • Ability to explain why one AI architecture or approach is superior to another • Experience putting LLM-based systems into production • Experience with evals, regressions, latency, cost, and failure-handling • TypeScript, including Nest.js and React • GraphQL • AWS, including ECS/EKS and Lambda • LLM models including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini • Must currently reside in an eligible hiring location: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada • Ability to work full-time as a salaried employee
