JHU EEHPC is the Energy Efficient High Performance Computing Lab at Johns Hopkins University, led by Tinoosh Mohsenin. The lab focuses on designing medical, health, and wearable devices and developing tiny, energy-efficient wearable and mobile computing systems through cross-layer approaches spanning algorithms, architecture, hardware, and system integration. It applies high-performance computing and artificial intelligence methods to smart health monitoring, robotics, autonomous navigation, and related domains, aiming to revolutionize healthcare, transportation, and public utilities.

📋 Description

• Identify research initiatives and inquiries advancing and assessing faculty research priorities • Lead research initiatives, including data management activities, program evaluation, and internal and external reporting • Prepare and write funder reports, publication manuscripts, and presentations for internal and professional meetings • Provide or contribute to mentoring and training efforts • Consult with and advise faculty and leadership on systems, policies, and practices supporting research success • Plan and direct operations of a complex mixed-methods, program-evaluation-based educational research program • Interact with stakeholders in planning and executing evaluation studies • Develop scopes of work and identify or develop appropriate instruments and measures • Conduct qualitative data collection and analysis • Produce evaluation reports • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a related field • Five years of related experience in the research focus area • Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, subject to the JHU equivalency formula • Experience with mixed methods and qualitative program evaluation designs • Technical and scholarly writing, particularly in educational contexts • Experience using qualitative data analysis software • Experience managing and leading multiple projects simultaneously • Intermediate proficiency in data management and analysis • Intermediate proficiency in program evaluation • Intermediate proficiency in research consultation and research strategy • Intermediate proficiency in resource technical strategy and resource management • Intermediate oral and written communication skills • Successful candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check
