📋 Description

• Support day-to-day coordination of data center construction and fit-out projects • Track deliverables, manage schedules, and facilitate team communications • Maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, action item logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, distribute materials, and follow up on action items • Assist with document control and project filing systems • Assist with schedule development, updates, monitoring, milestone tracking, and variance reporting • Support budget tracking, invoice processing, financial records, cost reports, forecasts, and reconciliations • Coordinate purchase orders, contract processing, and payment applications with finance teams • Participate in site walks and construction meetings • Assist with tracking long-lead equipment and coordination of interdependent MEP systems • Document construction progress through photos, site observations, and tracking tools • Serve as a point of contact for routine project inquiries and information requests • Assist with client presentations, status reports, executive updates, and client meetings • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, vendors, equipment providers, client facilities teams, IT stakeholders, and operations personnel • Support compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and data center industry standards • Assist with quality control, commissioning coordination, integrated systems testing, punch lists, warranties, closeout documentation, and lessons learned • Develop knowledge of data center standards, technical requirements, project management tools, electrical systems, mechanical cooling, backup power, and network infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, or related field • 2-5 years of project coordination, construction administration, or related experience • Basic understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and document management • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional demeanor • Detail-oriented approach with commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • Willingness to learn complex technical systems and data center-specific requirements • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and collaborative team player mentality • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in fast-paced project environments • Ability to work occasional extended hours or weekends as project demands require • This position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Preferred: Previous exposure to data center, laboratory, healthcare, or other mission-critical facility projects • Preferred: Familiarity with Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, or Primavera P6 • Preferred: Basic understanding of MEP systems • Preferred: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification • Preferred: Interest in pursuing PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications • Preferred: Experience with BIM coordination or construction technology platforms • Preferred: Knowledge of data center terminology, equipment types, and operational concepts • Preferred: Internship or co-op experience in construction management or facilities • Preferred: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Preferred: Demonstrated initiative and eagerness for professional growth
