📋 Description

• Develop and manage hard service categories including MEP, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, critical environment, and fire and life safety • Develop, execute, and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term category strategies • Build strategic relationships with suppliers and industry leaders • Manage category-specific segmentation of service providers and supply partners • Share market intelligence, best practices, and category expertise • Drive category opportunity agendas and deliver financial targets • Plan procurement events, manage RFPs and quotations, analyze bids, and recommend awards • Liaise with stakeholders for contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation, and compliance • Use supply chain data analytics to assess needs and portfolios • Rationalize the supply base and maintain a strategic supply partner framework • Identify and qualify new suppliers using market and industry intelligence • Identify risks and provide mitigation solutions • Manage supplier relationships using JLL tools • Act as internal issue resolution point and review supplier performance • Provide functional leadership and peer group alignment • Develop and implement policies and procedures • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders • Lead sourcing functions including supplier due diligence, RFPs, bids, contract negotiations, and operational transition • Partner with functional leads and business stakeholders to drive immediate and sustained benefits • Manage savings tracking and supplier initiatives • Conduct supplier performance reviews, manage scorecards, contract compliance, and service obligations • Incorporate Responsible Procurement • Serve as subject matter expert and main point of contact for the category

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain preferred • 5-7 years procurement-related technical category management experience • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills • Strong analytical ability • Ability to work on a regional scale and across different time zones • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proven ability to facilitate strategic supplier relationships and work with senior business executives and procurement leadership • Collaborative and influencing style with a focus on teamwork • Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments • Expertise in sourcing with demonstrated ability to manage change • Ability to sell and present initiatives and/or new ideas • Experience in sourcing indirect corporate services and products • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in MS applications • Excellent ability to work with large amounts of data and build reports • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines • Ability to work with senior leadership and global teams • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • No visa sponsorship provided
