📋 Description

• Develop compelling content and manage full-scale grant proposal projects • Provide strategic recommendations for grant proposals aligned with Foundation guidelines • Support approximately 40-50 solicitations annually, resulting in $1M to $1.5M annually • Meet annual and campaign fundraising goals by developing and executing a portfolio of new, renewable, and upgradeable institutional donors • Create Letters of Inquiry and proposals • Assist with foundation strategy and development/management of a robust foundation portfolio • Identify and research appropriate foundation prospects • Assist with donor stewardship and grant deliverables • Manage a foundation fundraising calendar • Advise and assist Philanthropy and occasionally Corporate team members across all regions on funding agency regulations, standards, and compliance • Oversee adherence to Foundation administrative, fiscal, and accounting policies and procedures • Manage a portfolio of accounts and support all stages of the foundation grant lifecycle • Partner with staff to identify, strategize, and advance high-value foundation funding opportunities • Oversee grant pipeline management, calendars, tracking systems, compliance review, and funding-related financial and regulatory documentation • Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders on program planning, priorities, and funder requirements • Develop best-practice grant review processes and maintain refined proposals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required • 3-5 years' experience in a major gift/campaign fundraising environment • Preference for working with foundations • Knowledge of restricted fund accounting principles, procedures, budgets and standards • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and/or projections • Excellent written, copy-editing and analytical skills • Ability to work independently in a complex organization, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders • Cover letter required with resume and application • Minimal travel
