📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive and strategic oversight of pharmacy services for assigned areas • Supervise, mentor, facilitate, plan, and administer pharmacy practice activities • Collaborate in the development, implementation, and growth of pharmacy practice and related services at Geisinger • Coordinate patient care across the continuum • Oversee pharmacy practice, medication use processes, and transitions of care • Empower, motivate, and mentor pharmacy leaders and staff • Guide optimized, effective, and patient-centric care across pharmacy services • Evaluate current pharmacy practice and plan new programs • Support the pharmacist provider and pharmacy technician pharmacy practice model • Participate in staff performance management, development, recruitment, and hiring • Maintain clinical and operational standards, activities, performance metrics, quality, and patient satisfaction • Analyze medication utilization, costs, and trends • Develop evidence-based cost-containment and cost-saving protocols and medication therapies • Oversee financial performance, budgets, business plans, and financial proformas • Monitor revenue/expense, staff productivity, and clinical outcomes using metrics and quality data • Establish, monitor, communicate, and improve pharmacy service performance parameters • Ensure accreditation, regulatory, corporate compliance, policy, procedure, and collaborative practice agreement compliance • Oversee the clinical aspects of the Caresite Specialty Patient Management Program • Lead and develop the Performance Improvement Program with Human Resources • Direct corporate compliance activities for Caresite Specialty Rx • Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations and corporate policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required) • Minimum of 7 years of related work experience (Required) • Minimum of 5 years managing people, processes, or projects (Required) • Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Pennsylvania • Mentoring skills • Office administration skills • Ability to oversee pharmacy practice, medication use processes, transitions of care, compliance, budgets, financial performance, quality, and patient satisfaction • Ability to lead and develop performance improvement and corporate compliance programs • Ability to collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, administrative partners, Human Resources, Compliance, and pharmacy leadership
