📋 Description

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical objectives • Cultivate relationships with community and academic opinion leaders/KOLs • Conduct high-quality, two-way scientific exchange with healthcare professionals • Collect, synthesize, and apply clinical, scientific, competitive, and territory information • Provide product and technical assistance and educational training during clinical procedures • Use AI tools and insights to improve decision-making, processes, efficiency, and outcomes • Deliver relevant scientific data through dialogue and presentations • Identify unmet needs and collaboratively propose evidence-based solutions or educational initiatives • Submit timely, high-quality actionable insights to inform medical strategy • Respond to unsolicited inquiries about Johnson & Johnson products and research • Support investigators and internal partners for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, U.S. and Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, MSL field partners, Sales, and Marketing • Maintain scientific acumen through self-reading, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions • Foster inclusion and belonging internally and externally • Maintain competence in regulatory, healthcare compliance, ethical conduct, and Medical Affairs policies • Develop and implement a performance and development plan with the Field Director • Complete administrative documentation and expense reporting accurately and compliantly

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience required, including PharmD, PhD, MD, or Advanced Practice Provider qualification • In-depth scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge • Research and/or healthcare system knowledge • Proficiency in data gathering and analysis • Clinical expertise and problem-solving ability • Interpersonal influence and cross-functional collaboration skills • Strategic thinking and competitive landscape analysis ability • Ability to support a territory with up to 70% travel • Valid U.S. driver’s license required • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, preferably in an MSL role • 2+ years of therapeutic-area experience preferred • Residency/fellowship preferred • Board certification for clinical degrees preferred • Commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI
