📋 Description

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical objectives • Cultivate relationships with community and academic opinion leaders/KOLs • Conduct high-quality two-way scientific exchange with healthcare professionals • Collect, synthesize, and apply clinical, scientific, competitive, and territory information • Provide product and technical assistance and educational training during clinical procedures • Leverage AI tools to improve decision-making, processes, efficiency, and outcomes • Deliver scientific data through dialogue and presentations tailored to HCP needs • Identify unmet needs and propose evidence-based solutions or educational initiatives • Collect and submit actionable insights informing medical strategy and cross-functional discussions • Respond to unsolicited inquiries about J&J products and research • Support investigators and internal partners for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, Clinical Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders • Maintain scientific knowledge through self-reading, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions • Develop competence in regulatory, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs requirements • Develop and implement a performance and development plan with the Field Director • Complete administrative documentation and expense reporting accurately and compliantly

🎯 Requirements

• A Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience is required (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers) • In-depth scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge • Research and/or health care system knowledge • Proficiency in data gathering and analysis, clinical expertise, problem solving, interpersonal influence, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape analysis • Ability to support a specific territory with up to 70% travel • Must hold a valid US Driver’s License • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, preferably in an MSL role • 2+ years of therapeutic area experience preferred • Residency/fellowship preferred • Board certification for clinical degrees preferred • Commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI
