• Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training on AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters during electrophysiology and interventional cardiology procedures • Train physicians and EP laboratory staff on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment, including CARTO®, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™ and Stockert RF generator • Educate customers on electrophysiology products and provide in-service training • Share best practices and optimize customer product usage • Identify sales opportunities using consultative selling techniques • Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate Territory Sales Manager contact with decision makers • Plan and schedule case support • Collaborate with Regional Business Directors, Territory Managers, EP Clinical Account Specialists, Field Service Engineers, field management, marketing and other internal partners • Maintain communication with external partners and develop customer relationships within and beyond EP/IC laboratories • Stay current on product instructions for use, best practices, troubleshooting, clinical literature and new product information • Respond to requests in high-stress environments and formulate solutions through diagnostic dialogue • Mentor new electrophysiology commercial team members as requested • Perform other assigned duties
• Minimum bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab • Must maintain certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography • Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge • Clinical knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends • Valid driver's license issued in the United States • Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging • Technical knowledge of electrophysiology technology and its advancements • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally and nationally, sometimes on short notice • Ability to work in hospital laboratory settings, attend live patient cases, wear protective gear and work variable hours • May be required to lift up to 60 lbs • Electrophysiology/cath lab or EP/cardiovascular device industry experience strongly preferred • At least one of CEPS (IBHRE), RCES or RCIS strongly preferred • Experience with highly complex technical systems or critical patient care settings preferred • Effective communication with coworkers and patient care teams • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly in a dynamic environment • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability in high-pressure environments • Ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights • Willingness to learn and build new skills
