📋 Description

• Serve as the dedicated legal partner to product and business teams • Provide day-to-day legal counsel on high-impact, fast-moving initiatives • Advise on payments and FinTech, healthcare/MedSpa compliance, consumer protection, marketing, privacy, data governance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution • Lead drafting, review, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements • Manage strategic partnerships, payments deals, customer contracts, and renewals • Own and improve contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes • Partner with Sales and GTM teams to balance legal risk with business velocity • Collaborate with Legal Operations to build scalable workflows and automate repeatable work • Escalate genuinely novel, high-risk, or strategic matters to the General Counsel • Help shape how Legal scales alongside Boulevard’s growth

🎯 Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of combined law-firm and in-house experience • Ideally includes experience at a SaaS, payments/fintech, or other regulated technology company • JD from an accredited law school • Active license to practice law in at least one US state • Track record of operating independently, owning matters end to end, and making judgment calls with limited oversight • Strong command of technology and commercial contracting • Comfort with commercial, regulatory, privacy, corporate, and employment matters • Practical, solutions-oriented communication style with non-lawyers • Ability to work effectively with incomplete information, competing priorities, and a fast-moving business
