📋 Description
• Manage claims from submission through final resolution, including follow-ups, appeals, and payment support. • Investigate and resolve unpaid or denied claims using payer portals and direct outreach to insurance providers. • Analyze denials and rejections, research payer policies, and submit reconsiderations and appeals. • Document account activity and manage medical records requests with accuracy and compliance. • Track and trend payer issues to identify patterns and recommend process improvements. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Billing, Cash Posting, Contracting, and Intake teams.
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification preferred. • CPC certification preferred. • 2–5 years of medical billing or claims management experience, ideally in behavioral health or healthcare services.
