• Coordinate each new member’s first experience and admission into the treatment program • Provide exceptional customer service and troubleshoot issues affecting treatment • Oversee day-to-day admission operations • Manage member admissions and virtual workflows, including check-in/out, payments, prescriptions, and drug screens; complete an average of 15 intakes per day • Enter and maintain accurate member information in the EMR, including address, phone, pharmacy, and insurance information • Coordinate member appointments with medical providers and address scheduling needs • Send appointment reminders and reschedule appointments as necessary • Welcome prospective members and serve as the first contact for all members • Ensure accurate and timely completion of admission forms • Confirm insurance eligibility and sign-up information; refer members for financial or insurance assistance as appropriate • Guide members on insurance plans and utilization requirements, including network eligibility and copayments • Answer general program, pharmacy, and office-level questions or connect members with the appropriate contact • Assist members with the urine drug screen process during intake • Meet regularly with the supervisor to identify problem areas and improve services • Comply with company policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations • Perform other duties as assigned
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree (completed or in-progress) preferred • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role • Experience working in a virtual environment and using related technology • Healthcare, insurance eligibility, retail or hospitality experience preferred • Fluency with Excel/spreadsheets and Google Apps (Gmail and Google Docs) • Experience with working in and maintaining an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) • Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 40M download and 10M upload package or higher, with a strong WiFi signal from the remote work location • Must meet pre-employment requirements and maintain all applicable state and job-related guidelines for background screening; this may include fingerprinting, drug testing, and health screening depending on state-specific requirements • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information • Ability to problem solve quickly and independently • Ability to work with a team and as an independent contributor • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills • Effective time management skills • Ability to work evenings as needed • Ability to understand and adhere to the Code of Conduct • Ability to respond positively to changing situations • Ability to work as a team member, demonstrating maturity and objectivity • Ability to talk and hear; sit and use hands and fingers; occasionally stand, walk, and reach; close vision required
