📋 Description

• Process data-entered, scanned, and electronically submitted dental claims • Review and process claims that cannot be processed automatically by the mainframe system • Apply state laws to initial claims and appeals • Refer claims to consulting dentists to determine treatment necessity • Investigate and respond to written appeals, inquiries, and complaints • Follow up on claims requiring additional information or pending in the system • Meet and maintain productivity and quality goals while working 40 hours per week • Work overtime during peak seasons when required • Report to the Team Leader, Group Dental Claims

• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment • Ability to handle pressure in a production and quality-focused position • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers • Mathematical, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills • Dependable with good attendance • Willingness to work overtime when requested • Strong oral and written communication skills • Proficient PC navigation skills, including mainframe systems • Ability to make routine decisions using solid judgment • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship/support
