📋 Description

• Facilitate group therapy sessions for clients • Familiarize with and utilize evidence-based curriculum guides and training • Provide detailed feedback and maintain clinical progress notes on clients • Counsel one-on-one with clients when necessary • Participate in community research and public health partners’ research and data collection efforts • Formulate and maintain treatment plans for each client served • Collaborate with community partners and providers on case management and care coordination • Adhere to professional and ethical work standards and enforce appropriate counselor/client boundaries • Manage group dynamics and problem behavior with strong professional judgment without jeopardizing group integrity • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for licensing and billing • Attend and engage in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field • Maine License as LADC, CADC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCISW • 2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related field • Ability to work 2 evenings per week up to 8:30pm as needed • Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting • High comfort level with technology, including EMR, telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), and mobile apps • Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success
