📋 Description

• Lead and manage major signage projects from initiation and design through completion for national programs and accounts • Coordinate across multiple trades, including electricians and fabricators, to ensure seamless integration and execution • Manage projects valued at $75,000+, often involving specialized materials and low-volume production • Serve as the subject matter expert for architectural signage, including design, fabrication, and installation • Oversee installation of custom elements such as canopies, graphics, and valences • Challenge assumptions and troubleshoot issues to maintain project momentum • Translate customer design intent into practical, buildable solutions using design software • Create, interpret, and review construction drawings and elevation plans • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and site requirements • Maintain project documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders • Negotiate, execute, and approve change orders in alignment with project goals • Review drawings and BOMs before production release • Analyze architectural drawings to identify design challenges and opportunities for improvement • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design feasibility, structural integrity, and client alignment • Evaluate design processes, tools, and outcomes to improve efficiency and quality • Mentor and support other project managers

🎯 Requirements

• Two plus year’s experience in complex signage program, construction with an architectural design background • Ability to design architectural elements using AutoCAD or SolidWorks • Strong customer service attitude and client-facing communication skills • Innate understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and their relationship to fabrication processes • Excellent analytical mindset • Technical proficiency in electrical systems, construction documentation, and material specifications • Experience with high-value, custom project execution • Proficiency in Procore and MS Office preferred • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across trades • Legal aptitude and contractual understanding to safeguard company liabilities • Experience in construction environments and familiarity with industry practices • Knowledge of AIA documentation and processes • Exceptional design acumen with the ability to visualize detailed solutions from concept through job site implementation
