📋 Description

• Review customer contracts and correspondence to determine correct billing treatment • Process invoices and credit memos for complex or non-standard billing scenarios • Guide and support teammates on invoice processing workflows within Zone • Review team-processed invoices for accuracy before sending them to customers • Respond to customer billing inquiries via email • Perform daily cash application by matching and posting customer payments to invoices • Follow up on past-due accounts and coordinate escalations with Fund Admin/CX • Monitor AR aging and flag at-risk balances to the Billing & Collections Manager • Drive process improvements and workflow refinement within Zone • Manage increased workload during peak Fund Admin billing cycles • Partner with Deal Desk on contract structuring and with Fund Admin/CX on billing and collections • Use AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency across billing, cash application, and reporting workflows

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional billing experience, particularly with intricate billing scenarios • Ability to analyze vague contract terms and determine precise billing consequences • Practical familiarity with Zone or equivalent NetSuite-native billing software • Ability to train and guide team members on billing workflows • Proficiency in cash and payment applications, including matching and posting customer payments against invoices • Familiarity with Salesforce for contract, account, and opportunity details • Experience using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT and Claude • Collections background advantageous • Collaborative approach and ability to guide colleagues without a formal title • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional stakeholder interaction • Proactive approach to asking clarifying questions • Prior Services and SaaS background preferred • Resourcefulness and ability to independently investigate and resolve questions • Ability to work effectively in a high-speed, dynamic workplace • Advanced Excel proficiency, particularly with Fund Admin calculations, is a plus
