📋 Description

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of robust and scalable network infrastructure • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers • Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls to ensure the highest level of security • Design and implement complex routing and switching solutions using Cisco switches • Design, implement, and manage a global Meraki wireless environment • Serve as liaison and subject matter expert between architecture, security, and engineering teams • Integrate technical solutions into complex, customer-facing production environments • Own, plan, and execute highly complex, secure, high-risk, multifaceted changes under change management procedures • Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and individuals • Act as a top-level escalation point for networks and related technical designs • Respond to, analyze, and follow up on network issues to ensure timely resolution • Improve communication and teamwork across organizations • Manage carriers, incidents, problems, capacity, service acceptance, events, performance, and standards compliance • Focus on service restoration, sustainability, and proactive service improvement • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related experience • Active professional-level networking certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Fortinet NSE7 Certified: Secure Networking, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP): Enterprise • 10+ years’ experience in a large multi-platform environment or equivalent technical experience • Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) • In-depth knowledge of VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, DNS, and Private Link • Proven experience with Fortinet Secure SD-WAN and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) • Knowledge of networking protocols, security, and infrastructure • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with extensive work experience • Experience providing situational analysis for networking/telecommunications • Strong verbal and written communication • Excellent customer orientation, support, and interfacing experience • Ability to persuade, convince, or influence others to take appropriate action • Ability to lead and impact others at all levels of the organization • Proven success dealing with concurrent problems and issues effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment • Advanced understanding of business strategy as it relates to network environments • Preferred: experience with virtualization technologies • Preferred: familiarity with cloud networking solutions • Preferred: knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts • Preferred: scripting or automation skills for network-related tasks
