📋 Description

• Develop, implement and maintain Kairos Power's BIM strategy, focusing on Revit standards and workflows for civil structures • Champion BIM adoption across civil engineering disciplines and integrate Revit with platforms such as Civil 3D • Establish and manage a Common Data Environment for project information • Oversee BIM processes across civil structures projects from planning and design through construction and as-built documentation • Develop and manage project-specific BIM Execution Plans defining Revit standards, LOD requirements and collaboration procedures • Lead interdisciplinary coordination using federated models and manage clash detection and resolution meetings with Navisworks • Serve as in-house Revit Structure expert, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting • Develop and maintain standardized Revit families and content for civil structural elements • Mentor project teams and supervise BIM coordinators and modelers • Develop and deliver Revit training programs • Ensure BIM deliverables meet accuracy, detail and quality standards; conduct quality-control reviews • Collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams on project execution • Generate 2D/3D layout drawings, documentation and reports • Review plant layouts for optimization, efficiency and cost reduction • Stay current with BIM, plant layout and material-handling technologies and standards • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the AECO industry, with at least 5 years in a dedicated BIM management or coordination role focused on structural or civil projects • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure, with a demonstrable portfolio of complex projects • Experience with Autodesk Navisworks for coordination and clash detection • Proven experience in creating and managing advanced Revit families, parameters and templates • Background and experience must include drafting/designer experience in engineering fields such as electrical, mechanical, structural, communications, architectural, fire protection or civil • Solid working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and its interface with Revit • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks for coordination and clash detection • Strong understanding of spatial planning, material flow optimization and equipment placement principles • Some travel may be required (up to 10%) • Occasionally requires working weekends, schedule flexibility, and extended hours for launch and critical project timelines • Must be authorized by the Department of Energy to access Part 810-controlled information • Experience in nuclear or regulated environments is a plus • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required • Experience with AVEVA 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, OpenBridge, Recap, ReCap Pro, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dynamo for Revit, 4D/5D BIM processes, or Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) certification is preferred
