📋 Description

• Create fiber-to-the-home designs • Size serving boundaries using GIS address data • Analyze, interpret, and organize large datasets • Determine feeder routes, distribution routes, and drops to premises using parcel, right-of-way, and easement documentation • Determine fiber allocations • Review field staking sheets, as-builts, and field-collected data to determine optimal running lines and construction methods • Analyze aerial imagery and general maps to identify existing utilities or potential obstructions • Produce and review high-quality constructible plan sets using GIS-based software

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to read, interpret, and create maps and plan sets • Ability to edit and create PDF documents using Bluebeam or Adobe • Associate’s/bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • General knowledge of OSP construction methods and best practices • 3–6 years of FTTH design and/or OSP experience • General knowledge of FTTH and/or OSP networks is required • Knowledge of Google Earth KMZ files • Knowledge of AutoCAD-based software is preferred • Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software products is preferred • Knowledge of asset management platforms such as IQGEO, NetDesigner, or CrescentLink is preferred
